How to Find Your Purpose in Life: The Ultimate Guide

I was at a job interview. And the interviewer asked me this question. “If money was no object, what would you do?”

I had nothing to say. I paused. This was a deep question.

I looked around his office. His office was full of sports memorabilia. With insincerity, I said, “I’d be a coach. I love to motivate my teams and reach a common goal.” It was an acceptable answer for a management job.

Looking back at it, I lied.

Don’t we all lie to ourselves when we don’t know what we want? When we keep on doing some meaningless work?

The truthful answer to his question would have been, “I don’t know what to do with my life.”
